Synchronizing contacts with the built-in memotoo account does not synchronize contacts' avatars. Partial workaround is to use SyncEvolution available in Warehouse. With SyncEvolution photos of contacts can be sent from Jolla to Cloud but not in the other way.

The following patches to the carddav synchronisation code: https://github.com/nemomobile/libcontacts/pull/99 and https://github.com/nemomobile/buteo-sync-plugin-carddav/pull/10 should add support for syncing PHOTO properties from Memotoo, but unfortunately I have been unable to test this feature so far (Memotoo requires a premium account to add contact avatar details, and the other CardDAV services seem to have limited or no support for avatars, also).
If anyone wants to try this out, and they have a premium Memotoo account, please do build those two packages, install them, and let me know how it goes!
I have a premium version of Memotoo, but unfortunately building the 2 packages and installing them goes beyond my technical skills :-(

I think that your "issue" happened with the free program of memotoo with premium or business should work. but you must pay something.

is just 12€ per year (1€ per month).
I can't tell more, because i'm currently test this, to know if it is interesting to invest money in premium package.
The only problem that i currently observed is that, if you have more than one calendar, it will be seen as grouped in the jolla phone calendar after syncing. If it memotoo or jolla problem it is not known.

I have already ask for the support of jolla on it, and that ids their recommendation. Dev-Team has a lots of things to work, and they go on priorities...

I have already contacted the jolla support about it, and it was more or less their answers. And it is fully ok if they have a lot's a things to do. They goes to priorities...

for my part i have decided to sync all my stuff with an owncloud server that i want prepare on myself.
That is not definitively decided, but currently i don't want to do investment on too much things.
The only thing that i recommend to you is to convert your comment from you above as answer. In this way you could make this thread on top of the thread list, and have more chance to get people aware of it. follower get a mail, And for my part i will vote for it for sure. ;-)
