Hi, I'm looking at the Device Lock dialog in settings and it's quite scary:

1) There is only one entry field for the PIN code

2) Digits are only shown briefly, then turn into *

For paranoids like me, who are afraid of mistyping, could this be changed to:

1) Allow the code to be displayed without *, so after entering the code it is shown in clear in full; and/or

2) Having a second PIN entry field, which checks that the second PIN is identical to the first; and/or

3) Blink the complete, unhidden code for a few seconds after entering a code, like hotel safes do.

This would allow the user to be able to double-check before making some change that could make the device inaccessible, when setting the pin.

(Note that this is not about entering the PIN after a reboot, it is about setting the PIN, which can be done when the user is sure to be in a safe environment with no third party looking over your shoulder etc.).

As far as I remember, after you typed the pin, a second screen appears asking you to type the pin again

Great, this wasn't clear to me and so far I didn't complete the dialog out of fear of locking myself out.

Can this request be closed then?

Yes, I just verified that it indeed works this way, feel free to close.
