behaviour of phone app: enter number [duplicate]

I want to suggest opening the "enter phone number" keypad directly when launching the phone app. IMO it is quite logical that I need the keypad when I launch the phone app, because if I intend to make a call to one of my contacts under People, I launch the people app. The other way around, I open the phone app, if I want to call someone who is not in my contacts. For me it's uncomfortable that I have to additionally choose an entry from pulley menu for keypad to appear.
