cant find android support

hi, its my first day using jolla. I have updated phone the newest version 1.0.2.5. Problem is i can't find android support from jolla store. Also can't find Yandex.Store, aptoide etc. Can i install android support elsewhere? Sorry about bad english :s

And you are able to see other applications in Jolla store?

hi, I am new to Sailfish OS. Ported OS (1.1.9.28) to my Nexus 5 and very much impressed. However, I am facing the same problem now. Cannot find android support app from jolla store and unable to install apk files. I tried all the workarounds provided in this thread but nothing workd out. Any help is appreciated.Thanks.

I remember reading that Android support (aleindalvik) is licensed and is available only for Jolla phones.

The ltest OS version is 1.1.1.27 (Vaarainjarvi) not 1.0.2.5, which is one of the oldest versions. Update to 1.1.1.27 from Settings > SailfosOS updates, and I'm sure you'll find all you need in the Store.

Checked updates but it saids it is up to date.

Use the pulley menu up there and press "Check for updates" :)

Check also: that how are u connected (WLAN, mobile data, none)

There was a server side issue which prevented the OS updates and several applications from showing up on fresh 1.0.2.5 devices. Unfortunately it was not visible in our normal testing and was not discovered until now.

The good news is that the issue has been fixed and things should work again also on those out-of-the-box 1.0.2.5 devices that are still around.
