If I turn on Bluetooth from the settings and send a photo via BT from the Gallery, after the transfer BT switches itself off automatically (unless I tell it not to). I understand the auto switch off if the BT was turned on by the share UI for the purpose of the transfer, but if I did it explicitly I think the default assumption should be that I want to keep it on.

I'd check Settings->Bluetooth->Visibility. If you have anything rather than just "On", your behaviour makes sense.

Visibility is On

Have you got the latest and greatest Sailfish OS? I did
1. Turn Bluetooth on (I've got Visibitlity: On too)
2. Went to Gallery
3. Tap on image, tap share, select my N9
4. File transfer ends and Bluetooth is still on.

Uhm, now I can't reproduce it anymore :O

ok seems to be a corner case: BT off, send file, say "no" when asked to switch off, then switch off and on BT from settings, share UI still asks to switch off BT after transfer.

Right, I thought answering was the same as closing. Happy now?

Indeed :) I was just wondering.
