Notification LED switchs off too early

Notification LED should stay on as long as the relevant event has disappeared. Means: LED for an missed call for example should stay on, until I have read that notification, so that I know who called me. Now it goes off when I switch on the display, let's say via power button. But with simply pressing power button I cannot know who called me. As a reminder, the LED should stay on as long as there is the respective message on the notification screen ("leave LED on until the case is closed").

The intention of this feature imho is to notify the user about a new notification waiting to be acknowledged while the display is off. Once you turn it on, the notification has been shown to you, so no need to flash any more. Thus I would not call it a bug.

This way it personally suits me well. But I agree on making it optional as I know it from Blackberry, though.
