I get: "Retrieving settings from server..." and then "Problem with checking initials: Could not create account"

SW version 1.1.1.27, server is Exchange 2013 / IIS 8.5:

Settings are manual and correct.

At this point, ActiveSync debug log is totally empty, but this is how journal looks like:

@Possi - Still having issues ? make sure username and email address are correct.

That really seems obvious, but unfortunately re-entering the credentials, email address and domain a dozen times or more does not help.

Is there a way to further debug what's going wrong?

@VDVsx - This issue still persists. Any ideas how to proceed? I'm able to successfully authenticate from Jolla terminal using cURL. I get proper looking answer to OPTIONS request, so obviously neither credentials nor server address is the root cause.

Is this still valid in the latest firmware release (2.0.0.10 or early-access 2.0.1.7)?

I'm also unable to add exchange account in Intex Aqua Fish, whereas android apps for exchange are working flawlessly. But i want sailfish native app to work. Does it have to do something with device security settings?
