Music instrument input Otherhalf?
How about an Otherhalf, that let's you plug-in an input jack for a microphone or musical instrument? This can be next used low-latency (through jack2, if that is not a problem) to a DAW written for Sailfish, kinda like iPhone's Jam Up.
and MIDI in/out of course :)

Okw ( 2015-01-29 12:55:57 +0200 )editsurely bandwidth enough for MIDI?
IIRC it only needs 32KBps which is ridiculously low by today's standards :)
juiceme ( 2015-01-29 13:07:57 +0200 )edit@juiceme, for MIDI yes. That'd make it a MIDI I/O-toh then, since it does not carry audio. Just control messages and triggers.
Okw ( 2015-01-29 13:51:18 +0200 )editI'm not really familiar with the hardware part, but I wonder if it should have a separate sound card? Probably yes? Also, it won't have problems appearing in /dev/ as all PCI and USB devices do?
