Some Jolla users in China can not understand English.

But all the application descriptions in Jolla store are in English, including the official Jolla apps.

I'm working on some apps' translation, but I don't know how to translate the description in Jolla store. Is it possible that an app in Jolla store can have several descriptions in different language, and display the current one depending on the system language setting?

By now, some of my friends can only get the app information in website like dospy.com where some people will introduce some apps in Chinese.

And could Jolla team encourage software developers using transfix (or supporting i18n) please? Some apps do not support i18n which is a little disappointing :(

Not all the descriptions are in English (only), many of them are also in Finnish. Which means that some kind of support for multi-language descriptions has existed since the beginning. I've been wondering myself why only two languages are allowed despite that.

Store supports several languages, and at least the Jolla applications should have also Chinese translations for the titles and descriptions.

How ever, the store backend selects the language to show based on what you have set in the Jolla account. So check the account settings, and make sure it has correct language set. After changing the language in account settings, it will take some time for the change to sync on store side. After that, the store will show the descriptions in the selected language if it is available for the app in question.

3rd party application developers can also provide different translation for their app descriptions in Jolla Harbour, but currently the list of languages there is rather limited (Only English, Finnish and Chinese). I will make a note to add all the languages supported by store backend also in Harbour.
