lock screen unresponsive after reboot [released]

When I disable the device lock on the Jolla phone and reboot it I get the SIM pin after a few seconds and can enter my pin immediately.
When I enable the device lock on the Jolla phone and reboot it I get the lock screen which is not responding to anything for at least 2min or more. I can see its connecting to the wifi, I can change the volume level but there simply is no response from any key press on the screen, not even the emergency call icon. If I leave the phone alone, wait for it dim the screen, wait a bit more and then double tap I can enter my code fine.
First time this happened I thought the touch screen was broken or something like that, rebooted, same issue, googled for answers and then when tried again enough time had passed for the screen to respond.
Disable / enable the device code makes no difference.
