I'm guessing you are talking about the new weather app by Jolla? While on the main view, long press to open a menu to remove a location.

i've added a tag that would have identified the app, but that one's been removed.

tried that, but nothing happens

Not sure if this belongs here, but I thought we could make this a sort of bug tracker for the weather app. So, don't know what others prefer, but I would like that the app would show current temperature and not the predicted lowest.

@dmnk is right - you cannot remove your "current location", only others.

Interesting, so first you would have to add a random location to remove the "current", which would make the random current, hence a vicious cycle. @dmnk could you revise the question, like:

it seems that there's no way to remove a location?

-> it seems that there's no way to remove current location?

Who has converted my comment into an answer? A comment would be great...

@ejjoman I think you can convert it back to a comment. I'm fairly new here, so don't actually know how things work... :P

From https://sailfishos.org/wiki/Sailfish_OS_Cheat_Sheet#Weather you can delete the file /home/nemo/.local/share/sailfish-weather/weather.json. (Only tested from developer mode.)

Yep, it certainly does the trick when done in developer mode. I tried using File Browser to delete it, it goes from the folder but doesn't actually remove the location from Weather. I restarted lipstick, no difference, I rebooted, no difference, the location is still shown in Sailfish-Weather, so removal via terminal (developer mode) is the best/only way for now.
