If you type your password in Android application, it saves it in word suggestions, and after some time it will start suggesting it right after you type first letter of it.

Which version of Sailfish OS are you running? it was supposed to be fixed in 1.0.1.12.

1.0.1.12. Updated into it right before even starting to use my Jolla, so it indeed still exists in Laadunjärvi.

can you still reproduce this in 1.0.2.5?

Not sure, my passwords are still saved, but they don't show up as first suggestions any more because of "remember password" option in most programs. Wouldn't like to reset whole device to get rid of those couple words. If there is some way to just reset/remove word suggestions i'm ready to try it.

The issue seems to be present still: https://together.jolla.com/question/12896/why-my-passwords-appear-in-plain-text-above-the-virtual-keyboard-as-input-options-o/ (or there are many users still on an old release)

Personally i think that people still have their old word suggestions from old releases. I tried to log in manually couple times on Steam Android app, and my password was still suggested, but didn't rise at all (6th suggestion atm).

If Jolla now accurately detects password fields, could it be possible to remove passwords without resetting whole dictionary by comparing password field into dictionary, and removing word if it's present there?

This bug is not bound to android apps only. It also occurs on native SF browser. It seems that some password forms are not interpreted as such, e.g. outlook.com.
