It seems it's finally available Here Maps for Android on Amazon app store: Amazon
Unfortunatelly it seems I can't install it using Amazon Appstore application i'm using on my Jolla. I can't see the app Here maps on my phone.
Did you try to download Here Maps with success?

I've asked an explanation to Amazon's app-shop support and they called me back to tell me that all plain Android devices are actually "incompatible": The app is reserved for Kindle users.
Can someone with an Android phone confirm that? I suspect that the limitation is coming from HERE, I don't see a reason for Amazon to limit the audience. (Let us know if HERE reply to you)
I would say that fits maybe only for the Amazon App store. I use also a S5 mini for work and could perfectly install the Here app from Play Store. On my Jolla I used Aptoide or 1 Mobile Market (I'm not so sure which one it was) in both I can find the official app...

You can:
- use this link to download the app from e.g. Google Play . Then copy the apk to your Jolla and install.
- install/open the Aptoide market and search for Here Maps. It will suggest to install it from another shop (boli3). Open the link (it will open in browser). When the download is finished go back to Aptoide and the install should begin.

No idea why though. Maybe inquire with them?

Just be careful sometimes they have a different certificate based on the shop. Can happen that you will then only be able to update the app from the shop were you downloaded it from initially.
