today I noticed the following bug. Incoming call, answer through bluetooth headset, call audio is diverted to speaker. Need to get home to try with another headset. Still, pretty weird behaviour.

Works with mine (Macrom) properly. Which SailfishOS version?

Fotis,

I notice similar problem like you, but not exactly. I can't talk using BT headset only when I have call and I want switch it to the headset - then call is redirected to the speaker. This happen till next restart (maybe BT service restart could help but I didn't test) When I start/pick up call when BT is connected to the phone I don't have any issues. I notice issue on 1.1.2.15, before I didn't notice this issue.

I'm often experiencing the same bug when connected to my car head unit, a Kenwood DNX4250DAB. It is a very annoying bug, because it only goes away when the phone is rebooted and/or the pairing is re-created.

Maybe the problem could also be handled easier if we had the possibility to configure (and save) the output device used for each channel as requested here: https://together.jolla.com/question/84999/make-output-of-notification-sounds-to-bluetooth-speaker-optional/

In any case it would give us much more flexibility.

This is how I solved the problem. Below is the answer from Zendesk.

Please try following the instructions below to ensure that no packages went missing during the install of the software update: 1) Try to make sure your Jolla is connected to the Internet, preferably via WLAN. Please also attach your Jolla to a charger. 2) Go to Settings > System > Developer Mode 3) Activate Developer Mode. Doing so will download the "Terminal" application from the Jolla Store. 4) Open "Terminal" from the list of installed applications and type in the following line. version --dup Once the process has finished, please restart your device by using the power key on your device.

EDIT: Again the same problems. Nothing solved!

Thanks @okourkoulous, the process just corrected an ownership issue, I will report back if the bug arises again.

Same problem here. No audio on car kit, audio is diverted to speaker. And often gets disconnected from it.

Worked fine until yliaavanlampi.

Rebooted after install a patch from Coderus -not related to bluetooth-, and now works properly

Can't confirm this. I am currently using car kit, private headset and business headset. No need to do anything with Yliaavanlampi. Just connects fine and I am able to use the devices as expected.

Update: Have you tried to delete paired devices and pairing them again?

I did that and nothing... But after an endless series of reboots, its working again.... Maybe Mandrake was involved?

I have the same problem with my car kit after upgrading to yliaavanlampi. No audio on car kit, audio is diverted to speaker. Worked fine until yliaavanlampi.

I have deleted the association on Jolla and even on my car kit, but after a new association the audio is still diverted to the speaker... I try to change my kit car device type on jolla, to headset and other... but nothing change

I reboot many times, but the audio is still diverted to the speaker.

Edit: This morning (I haven't reboot my Jolla) I have received a call when I was in my car and the audio goes through my Parrot car kit. I can't explain why, but it works... Could be the dark power of the TJC ???

Same problem with Sailfish 1.1.9.28 and nokia BH-503: A2DP profile works fine, but incoming call diverted to speaker no matter what option chosen

UPDATE: Problem gone after reboot
