Short question about the android kindle app: when I try to register with my account it tells me that I don't have a network connection. But I do have one. So I suppose it's some glitch of the android emulator. Any ideas how to circumvent this problem?

Did you just install the kindle app? Then you may have to reboot. See my Answer to https://together.jolla.com/question/1052/bug-wifi-requires-reboot-to-work/

Rebooting solved this issue for me, the Kindle app is working now.

I am also using the Amazon Kindle app without any problem in the emulator. Did you enter your PIN Code fast enough after booting? Did you try to restart alien dalvik services?

systemctl stop aliendalvik.service
systemctl start aliendalvik.service

What do you mean by "enter your PIN Code fast enough after booting"? The phone has network connection (I can use the browser ok), only the kindle app complains about it. I've restartet the phone now - still the same behaviour.

There is an issue where some android apps cannot connect to 3G when PIN code wasn't entered fast enough after booting.

Maybe the problem arises from the fact, that I have as yet no sim card in the phone. so I only have wifi. Could this be the reason for this problem?
