Jolla's home screen is great with it's Sailfish app covers including updated content and gestures. Snapshot cover for each Android app is nice add too - However, sometimes I'd like to be able to hide those, still keeping certain Android apps (for example some IM app notifying of incoming messages, music player, Navigation with voice) running, still having room for 4 interactive Sailfish app covers (most usually in my case: People, Messages, Mail, Calendar)

Using the cover gestures, and watching the content, is not so nice with more than 4 covers. So even that there can be 9, an option to show/hide app covers you don't need (but you need the app running on background) would be just great.

I'm hoping this especially for Android apps, as their covers are just simple snapshots without any interactive cover gestures anyway. If you come up with an idea of how this could be done the best way, or a workaround while waiting, please suggest
