I turned off notifications in the Play Store but still I always get notifications when I install or update apps, I guess that's because Sailfish itself notificates. Is there a way to turn off this behavior? I don't want to get notificated every time I install something.

Also is it possible to quick dismiss notifications by for example swiping up like on the iPhone?

Short answer: No there isn't and no it isn't.

You might want to make this question a feature request - or rather, two requests, to have only one issue per question (so they can be voted on individually and closed if the issue is resolved). (Also remember to use search to check if these features have been requested before, to avoid duplicates. For the first question, a related one:

Also, welcome to Together. :)

I searched for it first and found nothing, and because I already thought it might not be possible yet I added the request tag as well. I hope that's enough, don't really know yet how everything here works...

Well that's basically enough (I didn't notice it was tagged as feature-request). Though if the question was written clearly as a request ("please add this feature") then it would be clearer for other users that if they miss this feature too, they should vote up.
