Number recognition in sms messages is not good enough.
Hello, everyone.
I have Jolla running Sailfish 1.1.2.16. I received a phone number in SMS, that looked like this:
+7 (910) 000-00-00
(zeros are placeholders). What Jolla was capable to recognize as phone number in one-touch manner was
(910) 000-00-00
That wasn't good enogh to make a phone call. At the same time if I copy the entire message and later paste it into the dialer application, I get a number I can call. But that takes switching application. :(
So I'm asking to update number recognition in messages to honour country codes.
Hi. Same thing for me. Often I get SMS from my provider with message that some number tried to reach me, it looks something like: Such number tired to contact with you: +48512345678 (x2)
Sailfish recognizes (x2 as a part of the number where this is a matter of fact the number of times the contact phoned me. It is clickable but number is not correct. This is very annoying bug.
As we can expect Jolla which is phone will recognize phone numbers correctly.
Currently on 1.1.9.28
Cheers
