I think it's fine to have your phone getting older look, but I just got my phone less than two weeks and starting seen some tiny chips/scratches that peeling off the black painting on the metal body.
So I am just curious how is your phone condition now?

i have recently bought this beauty and i am using it since the last 2-3 weeks as my primary phone but not even a single scratch anywhere on my phone.The black metal is as awesome as new ;) :)

I've had mine for 8 months. Until a few weeks ago the TOH only had minor scratches, it suffered a fall but only the TOH was affected with some extra marks. The phone itself is mint except for a chip in the plastic rim around the screen.
No protection whatsoever.

A little offtopic question but as i live in india i am unable to buy ToHs. I really wanted the Kiera Black and the lime ToHs. Can anyone help? Any ideas ? Thanks in advance !!

After 15 months: White original back cover is scratched and the scratches are different colour. Jolla has ripped 2 pair of jeans because of the sharp corners of the Jolla phone. Dropping few times have even sharpened the metallic corners. Lastu wallet cover (12 months old) is dyed into blue, gotten old and the birch back plate has chipped several times. The birch back is bending depending on moistness levels. Also losing colour from the grayish painted alumimium. Summa summarium, Jolla wears down slowly.

Mine stills looks as good as new thanks to the Insmat Case (v. 1 w/o extra holes) :)
And I really hope that future products of Jolla (like the Jolla Tablet) are more solid and compatible of being used without protection cases.

To me the biggest problem is the bad quality of the camera lens which is getting too much scratched, leading to blured photos. I'll eventually try to polish it.

After 11 months of use as an everyday phone mine is still in a good shape. The paint near the top wore off a little and the screen has a tiny scratch thatI only notice when the screen is off. It even survived a 2 meter drop without shattering the screen. My black TOH has a long narrow scratch caused by a friend's cat, the white one is still good as new. Not bad for a phone used without any protective casing I'd say :)

After 14 months of ownership am seeing some obvious paint wear on the metal edges at the top of the phone.

The phone is pretty much in the same condition since day one, except for the main camera lens which is scratched or flaked of the lens coating. This is not a big problem since the camera is not so good quality that I'd want to use it much anyway... :(
All in all, I am amazed on the durability of the HW.

If I'd know the name of the color and find some paint I'd like to try giving my phone a new paint job... Screen is still in perfect condition. Lens looks ok too.
