Miniclip 8 Ball pool crashes often . [not relevant]
Hello guys , i am just getting the hang around sailfish and so tried to install android apps. I found out that the Miniclip 8 Ball Pool which is very popular on android gets installed on my Jolla but then crashes every time i try to open it . Any help would be greatly appreciated ! Thankyou !!
Some may think I'm paranoid, but I 'd like to add that you should avoid apps that refuse to work when Google Services aren't running: this is clearly a malware indicator (user tracking, consumer profiling, targeted advertising). In other words, the kind of annoyances we are not supposed to encounter with an 'unlike' device. If you have no problem with those, just buy a pure Android phone: it's convenient, it's cheap (you pay one half of the phone, marketing agencies pay the rest).

All the sailors here are using some or the other android app with Jolls due to the lack of the native apps , so your advice to stay away from Google apps is probably useless . But thanks for replying .

Of course I am using some Android apps when no native equivalent is available.

It says it requires access to the protected system memory, to my accounts, to my geographic position and so on. I tested it briefly: it's running. Now I am uninstalling it, as there is no reason (IMHO) to allow its excessive requirements. Running Ilyaavanlampi. Maybe your device is running out of on-board memory? Hope it may help.
