When listening to music via BT speaker I do not want to hear any system notification sounds from there (e.g. each time an email pops in) as it is loud and annoying. I'd rather the notification sounds stayed at the phone speaker which is not possible at the moment. One solution to avoid them is to silence sounds. But this way I would not hear system notifications or an incoming call.

On the other hand, when using a BT-headset it could be important to hear those sounds exactly from there. So it depends on the device and its purpose if you want to hear notification sounds from there or not.

Because of that I would like to be able to differentiate where system sounds are transferred to. Either to BT-device or to phone speaker, while main sound stays with the BT-device. Maybe as configuration per each BT-device.

Would somebody know how to change or tweak those settings by any chance?

EDIT: I just noticed that system sounds and media output are split up to internal and BT speaker when connected, respectively. So the problem of the first paragraph seems to be solved as of 2.0.0.10. Still I would like to know where to find those settings.

As the phone is my #1 music listening device on the go, I second this suggestion - I'd even say the phone (and tablet) should have a dedicated "Jukebox mode", in which music would always play uninterrupted and calls/messages etc. would stay silent in the background.

If you could port the notification sounds through 'alsa sound' would might work. And the music or what so ever through 'Pulse audio'. Just an idea. Could work or it wouldn't. Good luck mate! PS! I've tried something similar on the SailPi project.
