I know I'm not the only one who gets overly excited when my multimedia device includes quality earbuds that work perfectly with the newly purchased device. Cuts out shopping and compatibility anxiety.

Unless you buy one of those horrible fruit branded devices all kind of headphones work without issues. Also it has been expressed several times people do not care about those. Also the definition of quality ones varies, noise cancellation or not, size, dynamic range, ... Moreover most of the included earbuds get thrown away, so it is more environmentally friendly and efficient to not include them.

Is this information fact or opinion. Personally I use all included accessories and prefer to buy from a brand that provides them (Apple, Samsung). It is up to Jolla what quality they wish to provide. You don't look a gift horse in the mouth. They say.

This came up several times already and yes the majority of people do not use the included accessories. Also including anything of quality will raise the price of the product a lot, good quality earbuds are 50-60€ and up and even then will not suit most people.

Btw this if for example already a similar thread: https://together.jolla.com/question/37040/original-jolla-branded-headphones-is-a-needed-accessory-which-features-would-be-coolessential/

@mr.bauza There are no such thing as a "gift horse" in business, nor are there free headphones. Someone always have to pay, and guess who that someone is... ;)

@mr.bauza - I would prefer to buy my own brand and even if you want Jolla to provide it - It should be sold (made by some partner perhaps) as an accessory in store with additional charges.
