Simply, my request refers to the double feedback from the virtual keyboard: a first feedback (small vibration + short sound) when you tap on the screen and a second feedback (vibration even smaller and different sound) when you remove your finger from the screen. Exactly as on Nokia N9!!

As long as it's an optional ease of access, I hate to hear/feel my phone buzz and beep every time I touch it. This would be useful for people with disabilities for example, though.

I'd also like to have keyboard feedback like it was in N9, if Jolla's vibrator component can do that. I have no idea what kind of vibrator N9 had, but from how it felt, I imagine it was some kind of beefy "linear resonant actuator" instead of a wimpy purring motor found if every phone before and since.

You can change all feedback behaviour by tweaking the non-graphical feedback daemon, ngfd, found in /usr/share/ngfd. Everything is done by editing text files, presuming you have time for a little research.

A GUI interface would be handy, though, as requested here.

BTW @sevanteri, could you tell how exactly you did it? Which file did you change?
