Tel. number indicator and more....

I would like to see an option to add an indicator what kind of number somebody has. Many contacts of mine have more than one number and also different kind of numbers: for home, for work, mobile or not... So please add an option to choose icons for indication. My suggestion is an icon set similar to NokiaOS.

Some more stuff...

Please add grouping for contacts (also a function NokiaOS had/has), so putting contacts in groups like "business", "friends" or "family" (could be a text box for free text)
[more a suggestion...] Advanced search over more contact fields/details and field/tag-selections above the searchbox/-letters (similar to word suggestion above keyboard) - this way i can search via firstname, lastname, nickname or company and if needed restrict the search to one of this fields --> added as info also here: https://together.jolla.com/question/48782/consider-all-fields-in-contact-app-search/?answer=85570#post-id-85570

could you elaborate what you mean by "Nokia OS"? Symbian? Meego? Maemo?

AFAIR Nokia OS is the OS running on Nokia dumbphones.

Defining the type of a contact item (e.g. phone number, email, ...) is already possible through a long tap on the specific item in edit mode.

Also, grouping contacts is already possible via a pulley menu function where a currently chosen contact can be linked to other contacts.

Linking is not grouping. I think the OP meant to group contacts into groups like "private", "business", "sports club", etc.

Stefanix is right. I wanted a feature for putting contacts in groups like the named ones. (I added this to the request as well.)
