Could elaborate which peeking gesture you are afraid to lose? Peeking makes sense at some places and doesn't elsewhere. A bad example is the calendar, where week numbers, day of the week and month are hidden, leaving a naked grid of numbers.
Stefanix ( 2015-03-07 11:40:34 +0300 )editI mean the event peeking, simple state peeking (am I still online, battery when surfing clock, we don't need a status bar)
cy8aer ( 2015-03-07 12:26:48 +0300 )editWell, YOU don't need a status bar! ;) I fully support SF 2.0 and like to have NW status, battery and time info on the home screen, and the option to get this info by peeking if the screen is fully occupied by a single app.
Stefanix ( 2015-03-07 12:47:54 +0300 )edit@stephanix so why don't you use a nice OS which provides it? There are Android and the nice Apple phone. What about "being unlike"?
cy8aer ( 2015-03-07 20:19:24 +0300 )editSome people don't understand that Jolla and their OS has more to offer than looking different to other OS on the outside. Kids, if my arch-enemy invented something useful, I would re-use it! Why not? "Being unlike" is really no argument in discussing the usefulness of features! This sounds like defiant kids.
