Mobile data is disabled when out of range of Wifi network

Hey,

it seems that when I am connected to a wifi network and move out of range, somehow mobile-data is disabled and the device does not activate / switch the connection. With "mobile data is disabled" I mean that mobile data connections are actually disabled in the settings app.

same here; had to restart the device to get mobile data enabled.

My Jolla re-establishes the mobile data connection when I re-enable the setting in the settings app main screen.

I was not able to re-enable the setting in the main screen. It just did nothing. However, I will try harder the next time this happens.

to be clear, you mean that both "wifi" and "mobile data" are on. but since you're connected to wifi, the mobile data isn't on (yet) and moving out of range doesn't switch to mobile data?

what if you turn off wifi at that point? will mobile data be used?
