I think they need out a voice assistant, as siri or cortana. very important further optimize the system, so you do not need much hardware. If you are going to get the phone jolla 2 rather should improve the design to win users. jolla should start in the future, should consider start providing exclusive services in sailfish as jolla music, jolla cloud, jolla pay are examples. full integration with any device (PC, tablet, smart watch, smartphone, SmartTV). Best design in their devices. should consider creating a smart watch. my ideas. I hope Jolla is a revolution and the community really want to succeed, so do not forget the feedback from users to improve day by day. jolla I see more pontencial that Apple.

exclusive services suck! also jolla music/cloud/pay would motivate jolla to make it in a way that youd prefer the jolla service over other services -> vendor lock in. which would be horrible! so, no thanks!

No thanks. I'd rather not have some company harvest my voice samples. And voice samples are very important to harvest for the optimization of voice-control systems because they need to 'learn' what their commander speaks like.

SOME THINGS HAVE REASON FOR EXAMPLE BUT I PREFER TO HAVE MORE JOLLA USERS AND THUS MORE MONEY FOR CONTINUING TO IMPROVE YOUR OPERATING SYSTEM THAT WILL HAPPEN TO EXPECT THE SAME MeeGo. VOICE ASSISTANT,WOULD YOU WIN MORE USERS TO JOLLA AND SAILFISH. STORAGE IN THE CLOUD AND PAYMENT SYSTEM IS GOOD IDEA. I think that not providing exclusive services and not forcing a user into this kind of "ecosystem" is one of the big advantages of Jolla and Sailfish OS. It's about freedom of choice. I welcome clients for existing 3rd party services, but I wouldn't want Jolla to provide such services (music, payment, cloud,...) themselves.

I agree. However a text-to-speech component would be extremely useful. I guess there is a standard for that.

Absolutely right, no "cloud bullshit" please. Integrate standards like WebDAV, CalDav, CardDAV, XMPP or PGP/GPG into email.

I understand your oppinion, but I think Jolla should follow their own path, instead of doing what everybody else is doing. From what I've seen this past year or so since I joined TJC, Jolla is slowly but steadily growing, has managed to improve Sailfish MASSIVELY in such a short time, has secured support from many private investors, smashed the Indiegogo campaign target for the tablet and just won the best tablet of MWC 2015 award, so the way I see it, Jolla has done everything right by NOT going down the road everyone else has taken. All the things you mention in your post will come naturally from third parties and direct partnerships once the OS starts to solidify. One of Jollas great strengths is it's size, because it gives the company more flexibility, and I believe they should keep it that way, and just concentrate on improving Sailfish with the input they receive from us, TJC, instead of just trying to keep up with the things others are offering. Look at Samsung and all their S- services. They have dumped billions into that well and for what? Everybody keeps using WA, FB, Gmaps, Gnow, Gmail etc. So my point is, that Jolla should not waste time, effort, and more importantly, talent, on (re)implementing well established services just for the sake of being exclusive or offering what everybody else is offering. Instead, they should find their own way of making the company sustainable, and once Sailfish becomes sexy enough, the ecosystem will grow on its own. Anyway, keep on sailing and have a nice day!

a voice assistant and an improvement in the design of its smartphone would grow jolla, continue to refine its operating system is the main of jolla, but I must accept that love to me a smartphone jolla with a fascinating design, optimized and different from others but with unlocking fingerprint and integration of all available devices (smart tv, smart watches, pc, tablets, smarthphones system running with Sailfish obviously) and a high-end devices. Have a nice day :D

The best way SFOS could go is to implement open standards as good as possible. Than everybody can use the service from the provider of his choice and is not bound to an closed ecosystem. In my opinion Jolla goes the right way.

Even paid apps are missing in store so doubt if they can build an ecosystem like JollaPay. ;) Am not blaming them they are a small team and are doing a great job!

Personally i think , Jolla, considering their small team, taking any of these fancy new projects would be chewing bit too much than they can swallow. IMO, even current Tablet work is big strain on their resources but am very happy that it got the attention of the world and would help them fund OS 2.0*. There are critical issues that need to fixed / important basic features missing in Sailfish OS. I would rather see them work on these as I have already spent money on their phone. :)
