While setting up accounts on system level like e-mail, CalDAV etc. I cannot see the passwords I am entering. I can only see the last letter in the clear, the rest is dots.

IMHO this behavior is not very useful and complicating things more than helping. Setting up system-level accounts is usually not a daily routine but a more rare task, carried out when setting up the phone for personal use. In this scenario most of the time one can - and often must - ensure privacy, since passwords like "OAgy59UT[Fv'ugwN:ABO547" are most certainly read from a source and could also easily be mistyped.

Feature request: make peek functionality available for all password fields as long as the setup is not finished. (Like current WLAN password abc-dot-toggle functionality.)

I do not mean a general all-time peek-functionality for password fields. This may be a security risk and has already been discussed: https://together.jolla.com/question/639/password-field-peek-functionality/
