Live Wallpaper / Live Ambience [duplicate]

Also something like a wallpaper that moves using the accelerometer would be nice. Gives a nice perception of depth IMO.

@ApB what you do with the wallpaper rendering API is totally up to you, currently the Glass effect and transitions and stuff will block this but maybe someone @Jolla has a good idea how to rewrite that in the future.

using accelerometr reminds me when i first time saw it in iOS and i asked myself omfg what a "nice" new feature for sheeps, i think that phone should save resources, personaly i would like to see phone without any effect costing cpu/gpu time (vacations, long trips...), fading is nice, but also take some time so you have to watch animation instead touching what you want, and phone eating more battery, yea people with active screen "savers" and desktops wondering why their batteries are so weak :D

for what phone is made for? usability or fashion fruity trendy ?

@pan tau, looking at apple... fasion victims buy such features - for that battery, I doubt this feature will be implemented in the next 12M, there are several new technologies in the pipeline and processors are getting better and better each day... and as always it is a wallpaper, you could just not use it if you think it will draw too much power but what is actually eating your device is the display backlight and transferring data..

I personally have no problem with jolla implementing such a feature that will increase the WOW factor. I'll have a problem with jolla if they dumb down the interface to make it more familiar to iOS/Android users. But thats another topic.
