Can't Jolla's browser handle the Acid2 (and acid3) test?

When I go to http://acid2.acidtests.org/ and tap "Take The Acid2 Test" the browser starts animating stuff but does not show anything similar to the reference rendering. Does it fail the test?

Mine keeps rescaling and drawing colored blocks everywhere

Yes, confirmed; 1.1.2.16.

I also find similar problems with eBay pages (classic view, not mobile pages), where you have an arrow on the bottom right hand side of the screen for returning back to the top. The arrow becomes animated and strafes from the left side to right side each time the page is scrolled, in a similar fashion to the acid2 test, only it doesn't finish drawing the 'smiley' - it just keeps bouncing/redrawing from top left to bottom right of the page, repeatedly.

In this website I keep seeing blinking elements in the Jolla browser:

acid3 does fail, too. It scores 100/100 points but doesn't look like reference...

Firefox for Android also fails Acid2. I guess it's not a Jolla-specific problem, but something in Gecko on mobile.
