Pressed "forget network" for Wi-Fi. Unable to re-scan again

I had a hidden wi-fi network configured where SSID was manually entered and added.
Before changing the hidden network to visible wi-fi, I deleted the older entry by choosing "forget network" option. Now after making the wi-fi visible, I am unable to add the network again. Does the "forget network" option makes an entry where the said network is permanently marked, so that it cannot be added again? If so which configuration file should I edit?
Note that I am able to search and see the wi-fi network from other devices.

If you can turn you Wlan from hidden to visible that should also help to get the Wlan to the available network list again.

The network was hidden.
Wi-fi scan showed hidden network and I connected by manually entering SSID and password.
Then I deleted the connection in Jolla by choosing "forget network".
Then changed the hidden network to visible (SSID Broadcast Enabled).
Now if I search for wi-fi connections Jolla does not detect the visible wi-fi connect network. But my other devices detect the network.
Am running 1.1.2.16
