I wonder if when I create an application for Sailfish and want to distribute has certain requirements to be accepted for distribution on Jolla Store.

If the preceding paragraph is true that I'm sure you do. many of the applications they need jolla best design, seem poorly designed, outdated, austere applications, jolla should upload their standards for accepting applications in their store. Would have more downloads my opinion is that quality is better than quantity. So if you raise the standard and requirements for accepting applications, the amount rises, functionality, it would improve in design apps. users happier and more Store downloads. Likewise if Sailfish enough community that we would not mind us donate to the developers of good applications.

I mention above for I have a nokia n9 with meego and several applications were poorly designed and its performance left much to be desired.

It is important, Sailfish system is way too beautiful and functional as to accept applications with a bad design. (the user experience is based on the human eye)

I wish for better design guidelines as well. The ones mentioned in https://sailfishos.org/design/design-principles/ seem to be marketing talk instead of actual documentation.

I agree - Jolla should give some design guidelines and best practices for apps! I edited the headlines for better attention in question overview and added some tags.

The current best information is:

Furthermore, the Silica reference has examples how to use things, but is only available by installing the SDK or the Wayback Machine at the moment.

Hopefully we'll get something better when they advance with the new sailfishos.org..
