Most of the external Bluetooth keyboards should work just fine - at least they do on the phone already

work just fine — exactly. In other words, they're nowhere near as refined and stylish as the one that comes with Surface. Infact, most BT keyboards I've tried have been quite awful in both appearance and feel.

I've tested one by Logitech, was a nice experience. But there are so many in the markets, I guess people have a good change to find one fitting their fingertips ;)

I'm using both the Samsung (BKB-10USWEGSTD) and the Nokia (SU-8W) bluetooth keyboards with my Jolla, both are working fine, no issues experienced.

Thank you for your contribution to the Jolla Tablet project! We receive a lot of ideas and suggestions, which we are grateful for, but all of them can't be implemented. We've reviewed your idea and unfortunately it is not something we can implement, at least right now. However, we will keep all suggestions, and might revisit this decision in the future if we see an opportunity to implement this feature-request in an upcoming product.
