Calendar event preview in notifications (like on Nokia N9) ? [duplicate]

After enjoying the N9 before I am still missing to get notified of calendar events some days before the event independent of the alarm settings of the calendar alarms. I find this important for planning my schedule and preparing for the calendar event in advance. For similar reasons I would like to have more than one option to set an alarm time (this is duplicate to https://together.jolla.com/question/62468/feature-request-custom-alarm-time-for-calendar-event-edit-option-from-alarm-screen). So a second alarm time could relate to the time of appearance of the event in the notification screen. Actually, I would really like those calendar notifications to appear directly on the first screen after activating the phone with the the first double tap on the screen. This would remind me of important events in my schedule every time I activate the phone.
Well, I guess, this could be implemented as an option in the Jolla calendar app and I would like it a lot.

I have imported the days of garbage collection for the whole year from our provider's web site. They always come at 6 in the morning, so there's a high risk that I will miss the garbage collection. It would be useful if i would see this event the day before it occurs, so I could pull the cans out the evening before.
It would be nice if I could adjust the days it is shown on the events screen BEFORE it occurs. The possibility to adjust this per calendar would be great.
