Moisture detector dot turned red

Hi,

the small white dot, located behind the other half (left to the camera lens), seems to be a moisture detector because I just saw that mine had turned from white to red and there was a so small amount (that I didn't even notice at first) of moisture on the other half.
I'm sure it didn't get into the device and I'm afraid that I now have already lost my warranty. For a bit of moisture. On the back of the phone.

I'd like an official statement on this.
Also user comments on where to buy those dots. (Just kidding)

Edit (09. Jul 14): Phone sent in for repairs. Let's see how this goes..

Me too. I'd hardly think TOH is particularly waterproof, so would be a bit concerned about what that might mean if I try and use the phone in the rain

I would also want to know if you can use the phone inside a pool of coffee as advised in the video

I have another comment on this. In a place where it is end-user accessible without opening the device (and voiding warranty) it is completely useless because you can always stick something on top of it to produce false negatives.

Sadly not. I mailed Jolla Care a few days ago about this and they sent me a link to their Warrant Policy http://jolla.com/warranty-policy Nothing else so far...

I didn't find a way to add a picture into a comment, so I write it as an answer. @pycage is right, there's a 2nd detector under the backcover. I took a picture and you can see the white dot on the upper-right side.

Jolla replaced the dot with a new, shiny white one after sending the device in for repairs.

I think i've read somewhere that the moisture detector that is visible to the user is not the only one.
