Strange bug. From time to time, some area of my touchscreen becomes unresponsive (the right side in portrait mode). Probably not a hardware issue, as reboot fixes it. Anyone else? (running 1.1.4.28)

I have a similiar issue too. Sometimes the touchscreen comes unresponsive. I cannot go back from from a view in an app or touching something on the screen just does not work.

A couple of times the device has been in a mode where you can open the notification screen - but cannot anything else with it. Turning screen on and off does not help and I actually had to take the battery off the device as I could not even turn off the device by holding down the power button.

This happens with the early access version of 1.1.4.28 Äijänpäivänjärvi.

I have not yet gotten to a point where I could see a pattern why or when this happens. This has happened 5 to 15 minutes after a device reboot and sometimes this has happened after two days.

I have had similar problems after both Äijänpäivänjärvi updates. My Jolla makes it several times in day when I should be anwering incoming call - screen don´t response to answer the call or do anything else. Then I shout down the screen from button and "open" the screen by button and then I can get to the call program to answer the call!

I have also issue with contacts of 2 numbers - I cannot make the call from call program. Either I have to use contacts to make the call or take the other number away!

I've never had this issue until the recent Äijänpäivänjärvi update. It's very annoying if open apps (for example notes) no longer react to user input. It's super annoying if this happens during an incoming call. Once or twice I had someone call me and I wasn't able to pick up the call. That's a basic function for a phone I would say. Never had these issues before Äijänpäivänjärvi. Rebooting helps but I'd really love to see a fix for this soon, otherwise I'm afraid I'll just have to switch back to my old Android phone, something that for the love of Jolla as a phone and as a company I'd rather not have to do.

I got this problem today the second time since upgrading to 1.1.4.

Both times the phone had been in my jean's front pocket, the screen facing to the lap. In both cases the problem was after a lengthy walk.

However, I've noticed several times that after taking the phone out of my pocket, it had programs open I hadn't opened knowingly. I suspect these things are related and there might be something wrong with the handling of screen lock and proximity sensor.

I had disabled LPM screen in between the first and second time I had the problem.

During the problem I could swipe from left and right and move around, but none of the button presses or swipes inside the screen registered. I also could not access pulley menu because of that. I heard keyboard press sounds when I touched the lower part of the screen. This hints at stuck keyboard process.
