Hi, I recently got a Jolla Phone and upgraded sailfish to version 1.1.2.16. Now I want to connect to mobile internet (Vodafone, Germany). My Jolla actually finds the 4G network and correctly selects vodafone, but when I try to connect to mobile internet I only get a "Problem with connection". I tried to change my provider settings as indicated in some other threads, however, I did not find any possibility to enter provider settings (access point...) for mobile internet.

BTW: WiFi works, and I also managed to change the MMS AP settings, which are at the same page as the other mobile internet options like Network mode etc.

I found some guides, but somehow, things look different there (they maybe were written for older versions of sailfish os). It would also be fine, if someone can point out, how to do this from command line (developer mode...), in case the UI does not support this any more.

Anyone out there who knows what to do?

Greetings from Germany!

Have you tried this already => https://jolla.com/guide/#Get-Connected

Third paragraph under Mobile data headline...

Well, in fact I have already read all this documentation stuff before, but now I had a look again (especially at https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202490128-Establishing-and-configuring-an-Internet-connection-Mobile-Data-and-WLAN-) and: Tada! It is simply a strange name for my mobile data connection. Where in image depicted in the guide one can read internet, in my case there is "BILD Mobilportal" wich is a descrption of the mobile web presence of a german newspaper -> maybe this should indicate a "start page"... but in fact this is the name of my connection.

I am sorry for not discovering this earlier. Nevertheless, thank you very much for pointing me to the guide once again -> obviously it was necessary ;-)

No worries - Main thing is that you have got mobile data working again...

The link that you found was actually the one I was looking for, but now they are both in this post ;)
