whatsapp cant find contacts anymore

Since some days, with the old and new whatsapp version, whatsapp cant find the contacts anymore. Does anybody have the same problem?
Is it releated to the latest SailFish Update?

Why bother with the Android whatsapp? To me it always had failed notifications and the issue of contacts not syncing. There is a native unofficial version available. See link:

If you mean the Android WhatsApp:
Had this as well. Turned out it kind of disappeared after I restarted the phone. It had something to do with my vcard contact import..
I had to manually import my contacts with the root user.

If you mean Android Whatsup - Check your Google account, may sync manually
