I've started using the Internet Sharing feature to share my mobile internet with my laptop. Sometimes stopping Internet Sharing causes the phone to instantly reboot. I don't know yet exactly how often this occurs, but I'd guess its somewhere near 1 out of 50 times, based on twice daily use and seeing this once every two weeks?

I can definitely confirm this. I'm on Vodafone IT 4G.

Still happens with 2.0.0.10.

Still happening on 2.0.4.14 (Jolla Phone 1) tough it is less frequent than in earlier versions

This also happens to my friends and my phone. I noticed this when i was setting up Internet sharing on my friends phone it just reeboted when i shut down Internet sharing. So for the fun of it i tried to replicate this on my own phone. To my greats suprize after a couple of tires my phone also rebooted. Both phones runs Taalojärvi (2.0.1.7). This seems to happen to me if i have for some sake both mobilenetwork and wlan network active then you put on "internet sharing" and when you stop Internet sharing after a while the phone just reeboots whitout warning.

Sometimes the phone reboots the first time you close Internet sharing in the Event view, some times you have to do it 5 or 10 times before the phone boots. But sooner or later it will reboot.

I have got the phone to reeboot here now 5 times after i had to stop playing around and reboot the phone once properly because i almost didn't get my mobile-internet back on line after this brute force testing.

didn't really get any help from the log files /var/log/.. that could point me in a direction what goes down.

Hello LinuxByChoice I saw this happening on my device as well sometimes. So this is definitively something which I would like to see having investigated and fixed. Thank you. Kind regards, megalith
