[feature-request] add "mark all as read" cover action for messages app [duplicate]

oh come on! of cource it's the same appl., but we do not put all the qestion about messages in one questuin. It is different feature, and putting it in answer section does not really raise the question

it is basically the same request - and as we wont get more than one cover-action from jolla-apps in the future, you can put it to the original question (as you already did) as I doubt that it will ever take off and is only worth a side-note (an option for the initial question) - thanks for downvoting btw...

I doubt that it is worth its own question and as we follow a scheme of one question per item with n options of implementation as answer this is a duplicate, therefore closed - that I doubt that it will ever take off is just my personal opinion from what I know how things gonna be with sailfish in the near future - just because I am wearing a moderator tag does not make this a "moderator" action! Anyone with high karma could close this question as duplicate and better I do it and explain it to you than someone generic does "Duplicate, $Link" with no explanation at all. This place is somewhat self-organised so my moderation powers are the same as anybody else's, what I see additionally to what $user does is reports & new-tags and I can probably delete stuff others cannot, thats about it...

@chemist would be fine if you could put a link where it is written that will be implemented. those people above, have no reference for a good orientation. myself wish to have a possibility in main view to set a sms as read or unread (not all sms) in my case... could you do that please?
