is there a way for people that ordered a tablet but don't have the phone to view the jolla app store?

Do note that the Store does not contain all available native applications. There are many apps on Open Repos and github that have not (yet) been published in the official Store.

Do note that OpenRepos does not have any kind of QA and broke at least 2 upgrades so far!

No, unfortunately there is no way (yet) to see Jolla Store content without using Sailfish OS. If you have for example a Nexus 4 or 5, you could install Sailfish OS there and check out the store.

In case you have some specific questions about Jolla Store, I can try to answer them for you.

Don't think so. People are aware of the limitations, a casual look at TJC would tell what is lacking not just in terms of apps even core features. People back projects like this for various other reasons. And anyways "Android support" can calm nerves of new users.

@User Yep. Obfuscating information until after people have purchased your product does wonders for customer satisfaction.

Simple fact is buying a SailfishOS device is not on the same level as buying an Android Device, users should know and accept what they are buying into, and lack of First Party apps is part of that.
