If you use Tweetian and click on a link, a notification on the top of the screen lets you know that the browser will start soon.

If you click anywhere else (i.e. the Jolla events-view Twitter page) on a link, you probably click multiple times, since there is no feedback if another App is triggered.

The best thing would be a global notification system, that shows you if another App has been triggered, so you can relax and wait for it to load. It also makes the experience more smooth, since you get feedback because nothing is more annoying than clicking multiple times onto the same link for the off chance of avoiding waiting in vain for the browser to open.

As I said before, the ideal solution would be a switch to the coverpage showing the other app opening. One can then switch back by tapping the initial app or wait for the new app to open fullscreen. Worked a treat on webOS.
