Hi, I desperate to find a good bicycle app for the Jolla phone with maps, possibility to create routes and recording performances. I found on Yandex and Aptoide this one (http://www.bikemap.net/apps/), but it has not been updated for a long time because it's not an official one. Is it possible to Jolla to work with this kind of companie to create the bike app which the Jolla phone needs? Thanks

Take a look at Modrana, found on https://openrepos.net/content/martink/modrana-0

I would recommend to rather download it from the Jolla Store.

@Sthocs - good point, I didn't realise or think to check that it was available on Jolla store, thanks.

Why not try Meerun from warehouse? It wont show routes that you can take, but will definitely record performance

+1 MeeRun is great - you can then export & upload your cycling activities as .gpx to the website Strava, for example, where other cyclists' routes and times can then be compared.

i really love this app for hiking, biking, riding and so on: http://www.locusmap.eu/ it's not specially designed for biking, but it has everything you need, including very good maps (depending on your region)

the only disadvantage is, you need to buy it via play store... i bought it with my android tablet and installed the apk on the phone, was no big problem.

i'm using it for about 1.5 years now and it's constantly developed, getting fixes and new features very often.

edit: i'm using the pro version, never tried the free version...

Thanks for suggestions, but it would great a native one with multitasking shortcut like "start", "pause", "end" of the ride.

I use Rena (Route recorder) https://github.com/Simoma/rena

I think it is available in OpenRepos too, albeit I use my own fork that I have added some fetures like recording te type of excersize and better statistics... https://github.com/juiceme/rena
