Bug: Remote calendars are read-only via Exchage/ActiveSync [answered]

I've configured two Exchange/ActiveSync accounts. Both against different Zimbra 8.0.6 servers. One is Network Edition which includes ActiveSync support, the other one is Open Source Edition with the zxtras Mobile extension which provides ActiveSync supports.

Calendar entries from the remote servers appears fine in the calendars, but they cannot be modified at all. Entries found in the "Default" calendars may be edited without any issues.

Further adding new calendar entries appears directly into the "Default" calendar, and there seems to be no way to add these entries into any other calendars. If the "Default" calendar is disabled, new entries is still added to the "Default" calendar

Same here, using Zimbra 8. It should be possible to choose a default calendar + set calendar for each new entry...

Me too :) I'm using MsExc+Outlook, and, it took my awhile to figure that all calendar entries which are made in Jolla will appear only in default calendar - which was in my case disabled, too...I am really looking forward to having a quick fix for the issue.

same problem here https://together.jolla.com/question/8951/calendar-cannot-modify-with-exchange/

some clue of this may found because some servers accept sailfish ok. maybe issue is depends on server not phone.

I don't think so Veksu, as Giusto experiences this with a Microsoft Exchange server as well (which ActiveSync is designed for) and the synchronization works perfectly well both ways with Android and iPhone (even though I have only tested those phones against the Network Edition of Zimbra 8.0.6)

With the latest 1.0.3.8 release, this seems to be solved. I can now add calendar entries via ActiveSync. So thanks a lot!

Having that said. The calendar app is still not optimal, there are still features missing ... but that's another topic.
