WIFI blacklist/whitelist [answered]

Ahoy mates, I would love to have an option to blacklist or whitelist individual wifi networks. Over here in Germany we have this pathetic law which enables companies to sue ppl who share their wifi, so almost all hotspots over here are locked down. However, companies offer hotspots over unencrypted wifi connections which will then require you to login at some hotspot login page. As a result, if you walk through any mid-sized city with wifi enabled, every few meters your browser will open and prompt you to login somewhere, draining your battery in no time. This also happens when you're connected over cellular while browsing some website in the browser, if Jolla finds an open wifi, boom you get redirected to login page no matter what you were doing right now. So it would be nice to have an option which would enable us to blacklist individual wifis, either by ssid or, even better, by mac. Another option would be a whitelist, so malicious ppl cannot just popup some open wifi or wifi with the same essid as mine and start sniffing whatever is beeing synced automatically. However, this would definitely require mac filtering.

Since when does Jollla automatically connect to random open wifis? It only connects to ones it already knows, so those that you voluntarily connected to before. If you don't want that, go to wlan settings, hold a network in there and select Forget Network

Wow, how could I overlook this? It was indeed in the list, I guess I accidently clicked it. Thanks, seems like deleting it from the wifi list solved it! And apologies for spaming! m)
