Claudio Maradonna ( 2015-06-05 20:50:36 +0300 )editPerhaps you should include more details, because I think it works for most people (I've certainly had no problems with using GPS with 4G, well, nothing 4G-related anyway). Like your operator, whether AGPS is turned on, and what apps like GPSInfo reports, and perhaps how you switch between 3G and 4G if it's not the standard way.
ovekaaven ( 2015-06-06 19:22:47 +0300 )editHappened to me today while I was on a call using 4G. I continuously tried both native maps and Nokia HERE maps. None could acquire position. As soon as I ended a call I could use navigation once again. That was really irritating.
Mr.Pancake ( 2015-06-10 01:48:47 +0300 )editDue to limitations in the GPS/modem firmware the time to first fix is likely to be slower when using 4G compared to 3G or lower. This is because GPS assistance data is only downloaded over a 3G (or lower) mobile data connection. GPS should still work in 4G, but will require clear view a the sky etc.
