Before: Sorry for my english....

I just tested to look for the changelog of the maps-application (rpm -q --changelog sailfish-maps). Scrolling up in the Terminal was really no fun. Its very very slow, so you have to move your thumb a lot to come to the interesting point. In this case I solved it with "|more" (Why |less doesnt work?), but when needing some information from the mid of a document, you need a lot of time.

doesnt work for me. but it doesnt matter, i dont use any special feature of less, but i thougt, that less has been since years the "more 2.0" and so i was wondering why its not on board as a standard.

I could have written the same post - I just spent some time scrolling the Maps change log. But: I noticed you can scroll faster by moving your finger very slowly. Intuitive, right? :)

That is called feature, slow it behaves like a scrollbar, fast like a page...

I understand it's a feature, and it works ok. Just saying it's not exactly intuitive... Intuitively, you're going to move your finger fast if you want to go fast.

And it is exactly upside down for the same reason, on touch devices you easily overthrow and that is bad on a small screen. Nothing you cannot get used to within a couple of minutes...
