Search option for email app contains a spelling error [released]
Go to your sailfish email application, tap on an account to enter inbox, pull the pulley menu down and select search
.
In the new window that opens, at the cursor it says; Seach for emails
~ Seach?
My device language is set to English(UK) and it seems that other languages are affected
While in the same window, pull the pulley menu down and select search options
, in the new window it reads Seach on Server and device
- seach?
:D
PS may be we could turn this question to a general question about problems with search in mail app
Here are couple more:
1) if you write something long the caret and the new letters are just going away, so the input text element is just showing the beginning of your text.
2) sometimes letters that you type in are just ignored. I think it is related to input text sometimes loosing focus for split second. This also leads to following: when you push and hold backspace to erase text, it just erases 1-2 letters and then stops
virgi26 ( 2015-06-09 04:10:47 +0200 )edit@virgi26 - No my friend, not a good idea and lends itself to making a mess with feedback for Jolla staff, please keep each problem separate, even if it is within the same application.
Please either make your answer into a comment or remove it, as it doesn't answer my question or offer a solution to this particular problem. Then make your own post about your findings with the email application, especially if you have recently updated to SFOS 1.1.6.27.
I'm not shunning your findings, but they don't belong in this thread :)
Regards,
P.S. as per simo's request earlier here on TJC; QUOTE: "Don't pile your findings (bugs/reports) into the same question, add ONE new QUESTION for EACH issue" - https://together.jolla.com/question/95218/reminder-early-adopters-remember-to-tag/
Spam Hunter ( 2015-06-09 04:26:00 +0200 )editit is not about same application, but about same new funtionality - search. And it's too long to be a comment. But whatever. Cheers.
virgi26 ( 2015-06-09 08:46:30 +0200 )editThe capital S looks bad because of your ambience. The 'Server and device' should a different colour, as it is the selected option. The other two options are 'Server' and 'Device'.
Andy Branson ( 2015-06-09 10:45:25 +0200 )edit@Andy Branson - quite right chap, just changed my ambience and now I see it correctly.
I've edited my original post to reflect your comments
