[Bug] Clock can't set alarms in 1.1.6/Aaslakkajärvi [answered]
UPDATE: Issue resolved, after the upgrade clock alarms have been unavailable over several reboots and attempts to recover, came back w/o an attempt of reinstalling
Last night my update to 1.1.6/Aaslakkajärvi appeared to go just fine... until this morning, my alarm in my Jolla didn't ring and I was very late to work. I opened the clock and realized that all the alarms I had set before the update had disappeared. I tried to create new alarms but they wouldn't be saved. I previously updated my phone without losing my set alarms.
So, now, I have a clock app without the possibility to set alarms! Please fix it. I can't afford to be late to work again :)
Can anyone confirm this before I try the update, please?

@chinauser without logs hard to investigate what the problem is, are all file&folder permissions and ownerships right, is the rootfs writeable, did you reboot afterwards? and so on... share a bit more info than that you overslept...
chemist ( 2015-06-09 16:47:40 +0300 )editI had no problem this morning. I just tried to create a new alarm, and it appeared correctly. I do not doubt you experienced this problem, but it is not a deterministic behavior. Do you have any other information to add? Do you use patches, for example?

Now, I just did one more reboot (for a different reason) and my alarms (5 in total) are all back to what they were before the 1.1.6 update.
I will therefore close this question. But I still suggest the Jolla team to look into that because other users may be affected.
