How to recreate:

  1. Connect to WLAN
  2. lock the screen
  3. Walk out of the range of your AP (eg go outside or a room that is not covered by your wifi)
  4. unlock device
  5. Try to move the lock screen (move up to get to the home screen)

What happens:

You are not able to move to the home screen until connman gave up to connect to the wifi

What should happen:

Connman should handle the connection in the background and let you access the homescreen (it might be the wifi icon that is hanging)

I also experience sluggishness in UI when device is changing connections.

I am seeing that Settings are extremely slow to open (I touch the icon, the cover shows up for a bit, then dissappears, nothing happens for so long that I think that Settings didn't start, then the main Settings window appears) when the phone has trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi network. Could this be related? Has anyone else seen this? As soon as the phone connects to the Wi-Fi network again (possibly because of me turning on and off the mobile network many times), Settings behave normally again.

Note: I do not have the problem with the lock screen (number 5 in the orginal post).

i don't know if this is related, but i see this when someone has sent me an SMS, i see the green light blinking, so i double-tap, unlock, swipe from bottom for notifications and then press on the SMS... that's when the UI hangs too (it may be somethign else, but then again, i may have walked out of range since last time)
